Possibly true (though many times they just buy the bottles). The problem is that the alternatives are either buying reusable bottles which would not be possible in third world countries like mine un chich people can barely afford the plastic bottle, or we would have glass bottles that are more expensive and less hygienic to use. As much as I hate to say it, we have created a plastic dependency and it is fucking us back. But we can’t just get rid of it as it is an integral part to how out world functions. The biggest problem is that 90% of the trash comes from Asia and most of the efforts done by people don’t reach the poor people in those regions. It’s messed up.

The only practical reason for bottle water is during a disaster or a crisis where your water supply might be off or tainted, where you need to drink bottled water.
Otherwise just drink from the tap, it tastes the exact same.

Imagine passing slaw that bans the sell of plastic water bottles and forcing the companies to withdraw their stock they can’t sell to the people they took the water from (water source type of thing idk)!!!!

Oiiiii!! You’re right though we should all strive to have our own reusable water bottles instead of plastic ones.
