Like how “Electing an Obama” is, in the future, going to describe someone who is too retarded to function properly?

To be “presidential” will have negative connotations.

I remember a few years ago, I think it was a reddit thread about Australia, where someone was complaining about Tony Abbott, and to explain it to the Americans in the thread, the commenter summed up the situation as “we accidentally George W. Bush”. I thought it was hilarious at the time.
I now realize that doing a W. is now only a minor issue as compared to “accidentally Trump”

I can’t wait for “Trump” to replace “Benedict Arnold” as the colloquial term for traitor.

To me one of the most irritating parts will be when our kids ask “why didn’t you do anything?” And we will have to explain to them why someone can win the majority of the vote by millions and still lose the presidency.

And “running a Hillary” will be the term for choosing someone so weak that they can’t even win against the worst person who could ever be in the job

“Trumped up charges” will be changed to mean lawfully sound charges that were contested as fake by the criminals being charged.

My mom reports to one, unfortunately. Sometimes she comes home and talks about her incompetent boss who got the job by screwing over the guy who had it before him by spreading bullshit rumors about him and making him look bad to the B.O.D.

Now, he’s got the job of the guy who’s character he attacked, is in way over his head, holds endless “team-building” exercises where he stresses the importance of never questioning his authority and taking the blame whenever he fucks up. He’s full of buzzwords and loves to listen to himself talk, but frequently misses deadlines and speaks to important members of the administration erroneously, and sometimes outright dishonestly. And a certain few people in the organization who have a say, absolutely eat his shit up.

It’s like being a loudmouthed blowhard dumbfuck is a good thing now.

“Trumpism” is already in common usage, and there’s no question about what it means.

no, that’s just “Trump”

“electing a Trump” will be the equivalent of:

* hearing your parents tell you not to stick a fork in the outlet
* doing it anyway
* waking up from the coma to find out your parents are now dead
* saying “HAH, TRY STOP ME NOW” and then doing it again
