Daredevil is my “so bad it’s good” guilty pleasure movie. Gotta love that playground foreplay fight scene and Evanescence songs unironically in the soundtrack.

The early-mid 2000 wave up of hero movies is part of the reason why i hate hero movies. Mostly Marvel, these type of movies are so prediactable; theres never any actual danger.

Is the dark night trilogy a good example to bring up? That movie had actually tragedy and danger to it.

Fast forward to today…Black Panther, Infiinity War, Cap. Marvel..etc. I haven’t seen any of em but i bet they’re studded with current culture references, little actual danger (super guy will just fix it all), and over the top FX

* Sin City
* 300
* Road to Perdition
* Dick Tracy
* Hellboy II
* Dolph Lundgren Punisher

all very good pre-Iron Man comic book movies. Also Daredevil was actually good except for that stupid fight scene with jennifer gardner

Ehhh the punisher was great. Everything else sucked. I really wish Green Lantern was good. I *really* wanted to enjoy it

I L O V E Spider-Man 3. With all my heart. It has since of the best fights and character developments in any movie I’ve ever seen. It just sucks that was kind of half assed because the studio wanted Rami to shove more in than what needed to be in. I love douchey evil sideman and LOVE Sand Man. That fight between evil sideman and Sand Man in the subway is phenomenal

The first FF was pretty good, Spider-Man 3 was the weakest of the trilogy but still great, and Ghost Rider was a good movie, just not a good comic book movie.

We went from begging for even a piddley little easter egg to >!Cap throwing Thor’s hammer across a battlefield so that Spiderman could web onto it to try to keep the Stark-created Infinity Gauntlet away from Thanos from another timeline.!<

What a time to be a comic book fan.

Honestly I like these movies a lot & miss when you didn’t have to watch 80 movies to understand one of them.

Green lantern could have been so good and funny but they spent too much on the mask and didn’t explore the story well enough

So basically any movie pre-MCU that wasn’t Raimi Spider-man 1 and 2, half of the X Men movies, or Batman Begins/Dark Night

I fucking loved Ghost Rider when it came out. It embraced its ridiculousness just by casting Nicholas Cage. It was so much fun and remains a guilty pleasure to this day. It belongs on the list for a bad movie night.

It may be an unpopular opinion but I actually enjoyed the punisher, daredevil, and fantastic 4. I haven’t seen any of the others but those I rewatch every now and then

Edit: ghost rider was also good. Not as entertaining as the others but still a quality movie
