If I’m browsing Netflix and not going straight to a show I know, I’ll mute my TV.

There is so much degeneracy on Netflix that you have to be careful letting the autoplay on for do long.

Amazon should just purchase Netflix already and integrate its original content. I’m sure we’d just get a premium channel instead but still. Prime is much more interesting to explore.

Honestly I spend more time these days scrolling JustWatch and finding something good and just going to Netflix to watch it without meandering.

You didn’t say no, so it’s consent.

And yet another reason why piracy is the best option. Maybe I’ll stop once someone comes up with a user-friendly streaming service

This is so true. There’s a Clint Eastwood movie I was reading the blurb for, and it just started playing, same with a plethora of other titles.

Not cool, Netflix.

I use an AV receiver as an amp and send the audio signal from my PC digitally to it. This means some Dolby thing works and basically it means Netflix ignores windows volume and it’s as loud as if it were at 100. I can control the volume of Netflix only through my amp. I usually have windows volume at 20. I jumpscared the first time something autoplayed

But don’t you dare binge watch anything without Netflix asking if you’re still watching the series.

Yes Netflix it’s 11pm, I have nothing else to do, I’m still watching stop judging me.

The worst was the autoplaying music.

I stopped watching Netflix because of this over a year ago. My life is much less stressful and I am now successful in life. Thank you Amazon/HBO Go!

Open Netflix, see new arrivals, add a few things to the list, not commit to watching anything right now, close Netflix

[this report](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.indiewire.com/2016/07/netflix-decide-watch-studies-1201708634/amp/) from early 2016 says we spend about 18 minutes choosing something to watch on Netflix. It appears autoplaying began around this time as well. I wonder if it actually makes people decide on something quicker or makes people quit the app faster?
